Usage
How data volume, agent and credits work.
Your plan combines data volume for your studies, budget for the Insights Agent, and data-based titles and comments. Use Open-End Credits for AI analysis of open-ended responses. Here is how each component is used.
Data points: your data volume
A data point is one analysed cell in your dataset. The total is calculated as rows × columns. The included data volume is available across your entire account. With annual billing, it renews at the start of each contract year; with monthly billing, you receive one twelfth of the annual volume each month. Unused data volume from one contract year does not carry over to the next contract year.
Insights Agent: one shared budget
Your plan includes a monthly agent budget for your company. Per-person limits ensure the budget is not used up in a single day. Usage depends on the amount of processing: a short question uses less budget than an extensive analysis. The stated request counts are therefore indicative figures up to the specified number. The budget renews monthly and can be expanded as needed.
Titles and comments: included in your plan
Create data-based titles, descriptions and comments at no extra cost. Usage limits apply. You can continue using content you have already created.
Open-End Credits: analyse open-ended responses
Use Open-End Credits for AI analysis of open-ended responses. Every new workspace starts with 500 credits. Purchased credits are available across your entire account and never expire.

Is the price per person?
The price covers your entire account. Duo includes up to 2 editors, Team up to 5 and Business up to 10. Agency and Company Enterprise include unlimited editors. Viewers are free and unlimited in every plan.
What is the difference between an editor and a viewer?
Viewers explore results for free, apply configured filters and download data and visualisations. With a personal account, they can ask the Insights Agent questions and use your company’s agent budget. With an editor seat, you can also create jobs and build and customise dashboards. Separate admin permissions let you manage your team, seats and templates, among other things.
What is a data point?
One analysed cell: columns × rows. A dataset with 1,020 respondents and 154 variables comes to 157,080 data points. The annual pool covers the whole account and renews at the start of each contract year. Unused data volume from one contract year does not carry over to the next contract year.
What applies with monthly billing?
You can pay for Duo, Team and Business monthly and cancel monthly. Each month, one twelfth of the annual data volume is available to you. Unused monthly volume does not carry over to the next month. Agency and Company Enterprise are offered as annual contracts.
How does the agent budget work?
Your plan includes a monthly Insights Agent budget shared by all registered viewers and editors in your company. Usage depends on the amount of processing and is calculated in tokens. The stated request counts are indicative. The budget renews monthly and can be increased as needed.
What do I need Open-End Credits for?
You use Open-End Credits for AI analysis of open-ended answers. One credit is used per analysed answer. Every new workspace starts with 500 credits. Purchased credits do not expire. You can use quantitative analyses, dashboards and exports without Open-End Credits. For questions to the Insights Agent about existing results, you have a separate agent budget.
Are data-based titles and comments included?
Yes, in every plan and at no extra cost. Usage limits apply to generation. You can continue using content you have already created. Generating these titles and comments does not consume agent budget.
Is PowerPoint export included?
Yes, PowerPoint export is included in every plan. Charts, tables and text remain editable after export. Cauliflower supports almost all visualisations and also preserves defined colours for brands and other attributes. Set up your PowerPoint templates as the company default, for each client area or for individual dashboards. Duo includes one template; from Team onwards, you can use unlimited templates.
Can we use our own logos?
From the Team plan onwards, you can share dashboards with your own logos. In the Duo plan, dashboards display Cauliflower branding.
Do you offer SSO?
Yes. With single sign-on, your users can log in through your central company login. SSO is optional in the Agency plan and included in Company Enterprise. We arrange the setup with you individually.
Is Cauliflower GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Cauliflower is hosted in the EU and processes data in line with the GDPR, with a data processing agreement.
Agency or Company Enterprise: which fits?
Both plans include unlimited editors, data volume starting from 100M data points per contract year and a custom roles model. Agency is for agencies that serve multiple clients and want to enable many project team members to analyse data. Company Enterprise suits companies with individual requirements for access, deployment and support. SSO, dedicated support and agreed service levels are included.
What does the price include, and what is commissioned separately?
Your plan includes the analytics platform with dashboards, exports, EU hosting and the relevant support offering. If needed, we help you set up your data structure, dashboards and PowerPoint templates. We agree this service separately at €150 per hour excluding VAT, based on the work commissioned. Additional data volume, private tenant, on-premise and custom software changes are also agreed separately with you.
